West Coast elopement photography & videography
For those unapologetically in love.
What area do I serve?
I primarily serve West Coast states: Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Wyoming.
However ss a full time RVer (with a tow vehicle) I can pretty much go anywhere! When my husband and I sold our house and moved into our RV full time, the point was to see as much of the country as possible. So with enough advance planning, I can capture your elopement wherever it takes you.
Capturing someone’s elopement day is an honor I don’t take lightly.
Why elope?
I think the bigger question is why NOT elope? If the idea of planning a 100+ person wedding and coordinating florals, bakers, linens, catering, transport and all the rest has you breaking out in a panic sweat, go get a towel and then keep on reading.
Society likes to tell us that you need to have a BIG DO to announce your marriage, but you know what you actually need? The two of you, an officiant, two witnesses and me. Heck, you don’t even need an officiant since I am ordained! And we can just find two random people to sign your license. How wild is that? Absolute strangers can sign your marriage license. Who knows, maybe they’ll be your new best friends?!
Now while you don’t need to have the BIG DO, it is important to have a visual memory of your day. Long down the line, many years from now you’ll want to show your kids/dogs/cats/plants the day you eloped and what a bloody marvellous day it was. And yes it will be a DAY.
Getting ready (together or apart) at a cute Airbnb beforehand. A magical first look in the forest. Your ceremony on a mountainside. Couples portraits on the beach. These sound like four separate things but they’re all totally doable in one elopement day, right here in Washington and elsewhere across the US.
Who am I?
I’m just a boy, standing in front of a potential client, asking if they’d like to see a photo of my dog.
